Key Responsibilities:
Merchandising Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive merchandising strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. This includes selecting product assortments, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
Visual Merchandising: Create visually appealing and innovative displays that engage customers, enhance brand identity, and drive sales. Ensure consistent adherence to brand guidelines across all merchandising efforts.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize overstock or stockouts, and improve inventory turnover rates.
Product Presentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product packaging, labeling, and overall presentation. Monitor and enforce visual standards across all retail locations.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions regarding product assortment and pricing.
Team Leadership: Manage a team of merchandising professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms, ensure on-time deliveries, and source new products.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the merchandising budget, tracking expenses, and optimizing resources to maximize profitability.
Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control measures and oversee product recalls or returns when necessary.
Reporting: Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to merchandising, inventory, and sales. Use data insights to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
