Head - Business Intelligence/Retail Banking

Reputed MNC based out of Gurgaon.

Role: Head - Business Intelligence, RCO, GOI

Purpose:

- Provide analytics based solutions in the Retail Banking space to business partners in the UK, the US & Ireland by harnessing data covering the entire gamut of data based support from simple MIS to complex predictive modelling.

- The purpose of the role is to provide business insights through analytics in order to support Risk and Product strategies in the various geographies that the company operates in.

Activities & Deliverables:

- Ensure seamless BAU delivery for all projects in BI - timeliness & quality

- Deepen engagement with stakeholders across domains & geographies.

- Provide relevant business insights and present them in the most appropriate manner through thorough understanding of the business domain and use of appropriate statistical techniques and tools.

- Provide leadership to 100+ highly skilled resources by setting tangible goals and help drive high performance culture. Build people capability through appropriate training interventions while continuing to focus on employee engagement and motivation

- Continuously look for new opportunities in the Retail Banking analytics space within the company that the India organisation can actively support.

- Work closely with support functions including HR, Finance, Technology to ensure the larger organisational objectives are aligned.

Requirements:

Experience:

- 15 years of experience in retail banking out of which 5+ years in the Analytics domain.

- Thorough understanding of Retail Banking products and services. Currently in a senior leadership position that enables the incumbent to get a strategic view of the Retail Banking function as a whole.

- Proven people manager with experience in handling fairly large and diverse teams.

- Exposure to International markets and stakeholders.

Education:

- Preferably a post graduate degree in management / economics.
