Head - Business Intelligence - Consumer Durable

Strategic: -

- Create the vision for the BIU team and the organization from an analytics and reporting perspective.

- Develop and implement the plan to realize that vision

- Develop an understanding of the various analytics tools available globally like Tableau, BI Cognos etc. 

- Drive a culture of continuous improvement

Operational: 

- Work with every department to understand their respective dashboard and analytics requirements

- Develop the required dashboards through the team conforming to internal quality standards

- Plan and develop relevant insights in the dashboards

- Work with concerned teams to automate processes (wherever required) that will facilitate seamless data capture and reporting

- Provide visibility to the management on key organizational metrics to drive performance Work with the data warehouse and data science teams to create the required data structures on the analytics database

- Manage and train team members to continuously upskill them Discuss and engage with Tableau consultants to solve reporting problems if any

- Ensure adequate staffing in the BIU team.

- Understanding of statistical and analytics methods

- Hands-on proficiency on Tableau for creating dashboards. Process orientation. Business knowledge

Analytical :

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in unstructured environments.
