Head of Business Finance

Leading business function for a leading Transport business.

The role includes :

- working closely with the business team in charting out business strategy and translate the same into annual operating plan.

- Jointly owning the business plan and PnL with the business team and delivering on the same.

What You'll Do ?

- Develop a clear understanding of key business drivers, analyse key financial metrics, provide value add analysis, support to sales / finance management.

- Partner closely with the business team and jointly own and deliver business PnL. Identify and track appropriate performance measures, key performance indicators and associated drivers.

- Influence and drive business decisions / action with appropriate analysis and comments.

- Proactive in reviewing financial information, identifying exceptions / inconsistencies, initiating action and follow-up for logical closure.

- Participate in revenue forecast calls and highlight risk /opportunities with appropriate analysis.

- Ownership of expenses forecast for the business group by using trend analysis / KPI reviews for better P&L management.

- Lead revenue, commercial arrangements, deal tracking, collaborate with upstream and downstream process teams for resolutions.

- Tracking of business performance against set targets and providing periodic updates to business and finance management.

What You'll Need ?

- Engineering with MBA - Finance from a Tier-1 B-School.

- 8-10 years of experience in relevant industry or reputed start-up.

- Experience in business partnering with senior executives demonstrating the ability and desire to provide pro-active, pragmatic advice in furtherance of the business agenda.

- Strong knowledge of controls and Finance.

- Excellent analytical, written & verbal communication skills.
