Who we are :

Helpchat is a personal assistant app that helps people get more things done. This could be anything - from recharging your phone to tech support, travel booking, holiday guidance, and food at your doorstep, providing shopping assistance, helping you find the best deals & coupons, web check-in and laundry. Helpchat can get all of them done for you.

We are a 600+ people company with offices in Bangalore, New Delhi and Mumbai. Helpchat is available to download for both Android and iOS users. We had raised Rs.100 crore from Sequoia Capital in May 2015.

Position : Business Finance and Strategy Head

Location : Bangalore

Compensation : Decent Hike

Job Role :

- In this role the candidate would be responsible for defining profitable and scalable business models with informed insights from industry studies, competitor analysis, market research and a thorough evaluation of model feasibility.

- In addition, the function will act as the bridge between finance and operations, defining, designing and implementing systems, policies and reporting mechanisms to monitor and drive the core business.

- It involves working closely with various stakeholders and senior management. Responsibilities also include support on investor reporting, planning and budgeting, funding and treasury management.

Desired Candidate :

- The candidate should be a B.Tech /CA (first attempt) + MBA from a premier institute.

- Should be good with numbers, problem solving, and analytical skills.

- The candidate should also possess good presentation and writing skills to prepare reports or present complex financial /business concepts and strategies to senior management as well as clients.

- The candidate also needs to be detail-oriented, self-motivated and familiar with the workings of the economy, and well informed about the start-up ecosystem.

- The candidate should have good knowledge of spreadsheets and standard statistical packages.

- Excellent inter personal skills and program management abilities are a must

- Experience of at least 4-6 years in a similar role is desirable.
