Role: Head Business Excellence

Reporting to: VP - Operations & Supply Chain

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement business excellence strategies to drive operational efficiency, quality improvement, and cost reduction across the organization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions using tools like Lean Six Sigma, TPM, WCM, etc.

- Design and execute process improvements initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, reduce defects, and increase productivity.

- Analyze data to measure performance metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control) etc.

- Provide training and coaching to employees on lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and best practices.

Qualification: BE/B.Tech

Experience:

- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or business excellence, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment (preferably in building materials or similar industries).

- Proven track record of leading business excellence initiatives, implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies, and achieving measurable results.

- Strong experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.

Certifications:

- Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification (preferred).

- Lean Manufacturing certification (preferred).

- Other relevant business excellence or quality certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, TPM) are an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive data-driven decision-making.

- Proficient in process mapping, root cause analysis, and quality improvement tools and methodologies.

- Experience with ERP systems, data analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.

- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and manage complex projects.
