Business Engineering Head

Responsibilities :

- Ensuring alignment of Product Roadmaps with Business LTP's

- Ensuring business growth by promoting existing products with new features and cost competitiveness

- Targeting product profitability & Engg Budget in line with group norms

- Technology transfer from Central R&D, Collaborators, External companies and enhancing internal competence to deliver new technologies

- Intellectual Property Generation and Control

- Converting Customer Requirement from customer documents and interaction.

- Flawless Transfer Product documents to ME and Lab in system

- Driving Customer satisfaction by ensuring flawless launch of new products

- Creating & retaining a pool of internal people every year for role of CTO/EH/R&D Head/PMT/etc

- Responsible for ensuring required technical skill and competency development

KRA :

- C to B for Regular Products- (Budget vs Actual)

- Material cost improvement through VA-VE for A products

- Gross Contribution (Sales- RMC) as per approved PFS for B to A projects (maintain & improve) through Design to Cost etc.

- Engineering cost achievement for B to A Projects as per PFS (through Earned Value)

- Engineering productivity improvement by reducing standard hours YoY & monitored through EVM

- Sale from Self Developed Technology - YOY improvement along with R&D

- Number of Patent, DR & Awards

- Flawless launch (quality) of B to A products developed

- Attrition Rate

Education :

- Bachelors (industrial/mechanical/automobile engineering), Master's preferred

- 18+ Yrs experience in Auto Industry

- Product Design, Product Life Cycle Management, New Product Development, Design Thinking Implementation
