We are looking for a Head of Business Development who has strategic depth and ability to build relationships with Business Heads and HR Heads at large & mid-sized companies- and make a compelling case for them to use our investment platform and personalised services. You will be responsible for leading, building and scaling our partnerships with various large and mid-sized companies. We- re looking for someone who wants to make a big impact right away and is passionate about working in a fast shifting startup environment at India's leading Mutual Funds platform.

Responsibilities

- Develop C-level relationships with large and mid-sized companies (Business Heads and HR Head) and make compelling case for their employees to use our platform/ financial wellness service and expert advice (typical deal closure is 4-5 months for a large company & 1 month for small company)

- Own and lead the business development process end-to-end for including identifying prospects, growing pipeline, managing funnel, negotiating terms and closing partnerships, delivery of service, P&L management, product engagement etc.

- Segment the market have a well defined go-to-market strategy

- Work closely with various internal teams collaboratively - including Marketing, Product Management, UX, Technology, etc to inform strategy and deliver an integrated experience for partners that fosters long term relationships

- Hire, develop and mentor a team of Business Development professionals

Requirements:

- 7-10 years of experience, with some startup consumer internet product experience

- At least 3-4 years in business development, client development and sales

- 2 years at a top 5 strategy consulting firm would be a plus (experience engaging with C-level in consultative selling)

- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding aggressive targets in a dynamic startup environment

- Experience heading a BD team and motivating employees

- Demonstrated success in negotiating, structuring and closing enterprise deals

- Strategic thinker, self starter with a strong competitive drive

- Interest in the investment/ mutual fund/ stocks space would be a Plus

- MBA from Top Tier school
