Head - Business Development - Property Expansion - South

Hiring for a BD Head - South Region for one of our prestigious client a leading fashion retail firm headquartered in Chennai.

We are seeking a Business Development-Head, South India.

Business Development : Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu.

Job Responsibilities:

- Property sourcing, negotiating, leasing/market mapping.

- Major Work: Sourcing properties, site selection, negotiate deals for leasing, broker empanelment, market survey and to ensure all post opening issues for rollout of outlets are attended to within stipulated time.

- Also to request and arrange for Circle / BD / Country head to visit the new sites identified and guide them about the area affordability and different factors affecting the store opening.

- Also Responsible for empanelment / making alliances with property agents / developers / land lords.

- To understand / identify / map retail trade areas with gaps/ opportunities in untapped territories.

- Maintain rolling pipeline of secured sites along with revision and streamlining the site approval process and implement new concepts in operational as well as upcoming stores.

- Understanding of legal and statutory requirement and coordinate with the Legal team for property document verification and due diligence.

- Finalization of commercials over LOI / TERM SHEET, MOU and AGREEMENTS with property owners for Small and Large format stores.
