Job Description :
- Leading the PNL of a growing busiess of ~500 Cr.
- Driving profitability leading a multifunctional team
Client Details :
- Client is one of the largest Indian trading houses, operating in metals, minerals, leather, agri commodities etc
- PAI - majorly deals with cathode and anode rods (procuring steel and copper), processing them and selling to Aluminum Manufacturing firms via contract manufaturing.
Description :
- Responsible for all aspects of the PAI business including business development, vendor management, supply chain, raw material procurement, new business development.
- Develop and deploy business strategy and ensure alignment with long and short-term objectives
- Identify opportunities of value addition and improving business margins
- Drive preparation of annual budgets, complete risk analysis on potential opportunities
- Drive organizational initiatives down through the organization, monitoring and enforcing corporate safety, productivity, compliance, financial goals, and people leadership
- Oversee operations & logistics for the business ensuring delivery as per plan to achieve the business/operations KPIs
- Deploy & review appropriate key performance indicators to monitor and drive the performance of the business
- Monitor competitor strategy and bring in required market insights that will aid internal decision making
- Drive business and process excellence within the business, including but not limited to reviewing automation initiatives for the business
- Explore, foster and maintain relationships with all stakeholders including external partners, government and/or relevant business organizations
- Monitor and continuously enhance performance standards employees
- Strengthen industry knowledge and domain expertise within the team
Profile :
- B.E. and/or MBA
- 12-15 years of sales experience in similar products/industries
- Functional and product knowledge of PAI portfolio
- Manufacturing, operational excellence
- Timely decision making
- Commercial acumen
- Customer orientation
- People development, interpersonal skills
- Strong execution skills
