Business Development Head

Years of Experience required: 10-12+ years

Job Location- Delhi(NCR)/Bangalore

Impact:

As a Business Development head, you will be Responsible to understand the business thoroughly to generate new business opportunities. The candidate should have extensive experience to accomplish goals and targets. He should be able to work on strategic business & revenue initiatives to achieve the desired goals. He should have an innovative approach. He should be process oriented and lead the team towards achieving key strategic revenue initiatives and key accounts.

The Job:

- Relationship building with the key clients and prospects. Should be able to position our offerings to influence them in accepting our solutions.

- To achieve the new business through the projected verticals and delivery of the same by maintaining the profit margin on the quarterly basis.

- Setting a clear mission and deploying strategies focused towards that mission.

- To have an in-depth understanding of handling business and best practices followed in the industry and keep ahead of Industries developments.

- Identify potential new business opportunities in advance to position ourselves.

- Proper control and utilization of resources to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets.

- Should be thorough in Sales management and Account management processes especially in key accounts such as India Post, LIC & DGS&D etc.

- The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with partners and clients.

- Deliver frameworks of business development plans

Responsibilities:

- Develop a growth strategy focused on Quarterly & Annual revenue

- Open key segments and key accounts with existing & new products & solutions

- Maintain up to date with all industry trends, issues, and news.

- Work with regional sales team to ensure all business opportunities are managed professionally and cross-selling opportunities are maximized

- Attend industry trade and consumer events along with networking opportunities and other relevant meetings/seminars

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners

- Provide strong representation at all times for large tenders and national accounts like DOP, DRDO, etc. Create short-term and long-term opportunities within the accounts

- Work with extended sales team to proactively identify new and different business opportunities to provide increased sales

- Identify market growth opportunities and identify new products and business opportunities to expand revenue.

- Engage with GeM, DOP officials for enabling sales team on speedy execution of sales opportunities.

- Engage with product management and Presales team to explore new applications

Qualifications & Skills required:

- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales manager or a relevant role

- Proven sales track record with experience more than 10-12 years

- Experience in key accounts such as India Post, GeM, LIC etc.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)

- Proficiency in English

- Market knowledge

- Communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to build rapport

- Time management and planning skills

- MBA will be preferred with experience in sales or business development
