Designation : Head of Business Development (BD)
Full-time leadership role
Location : Pune or Trivandrum
The incumbent shall assist in designing, developing, implementing and directing strategic goals and activities relative to the growth, expansion of services or offerings or exploring new territories. This position is essential to generating and contacting new leads/clients and establishing a rapport as well as cultivating existing relationships.
The Head of BD will plan and oversee new market initiatives and opportunities. The incumbent is accountable to achieve annual goals/strategic initiatives related to growth, new programs, retention/recruitment as well as training personnel and helping team members develop their skills. This individual must demonstrate personal leadership, strong self-motivation and initiative, and a drive for results
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for Lead Development and Implementation of Business Development Strategy for GDN [alignment with organizational goal]
- Responsible for business expansion and improve its sales, revenues, product offerings, and brand awareness
- Oversee the planning and implementation of business plans for the penetration of new markets
- Manage all customer relationship activities to ensure delivery of high quality service
- Analyze market trends and customer needs & preferences
- Conduct market research to identify developments/changes in industry trends in order to make necessary adjustments
- Establish strategic partnership with other companies to leverage on their network
- Conduct negotiations to determine contract terms and ensure profitable deals
- Design and implement customer service standards to ensure clients are satisfied with received products/services
- Develop proposals and presentation for Client
- Assist in Technical solution assessment
- Ensure departmental goals are in line with company growth strategy
Qualification :
- Bachelors degree (any subject)
- Masters Degree (not mandatory) preferably in any Business discipline, Marketing or Strategy
Experience :
- Experience range-12-15 years professional experience ( preferably 5-7 years in strategic/Business Development Role )
