Position/Job Title : Head - Business Development

1) Job Purpose :
- The Head of Business Development will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success by strategically expanding and optimizing our distributor network for PMS and AIF. This role is essential in establishing and nurturing relationships with new and existing distributors, ensuring our products reach a broader market and meet the needs of our clients. By leveraging market insights and fostering strong partnerships, the Head of Business Development will contribute to the company's mission of delivering superior investment solutions and achieving sustained business growth
2) Principal Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the distributor network for PMS and AIF products.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors to ensure their continued engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update distributors on product offerings, performance, and market insights.
- Provide training and support to distributors to enhance their understanding and promotion of our products.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the asset management industry.
- Analyze and interpret market data to inform business development strategies and decision making
- Work closely with the marketing, product development, and sales teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
- Monitor and report on the performance of business development activities, including sales metrics, distributor engagement, and market feedback.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities. M.B.A or Equivalent post graduate degree
- 15 or more years of relevant experience in mentioned channels
- Thorough knowledge of equity products is necessary
