Role: Head Business Development

The ideal candidate will be responsible architecting a sales strategy and building out a team of Executives and SDR's across enterprise and mid-market sales. The person should be excited by selling into new markets, strategizing next steps, negotiating complex deals and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities.

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities

- Determines annual unit by implementing marketing strategies; and analyzing trends and results.

- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products and markets.

- Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.

- Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

- Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals

- Assists in the development of the sales plan. Prepares forecasts and KPI reporting for the sales leaders, CRO, and upper management, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning.

- Land and expand build process and funnel for manual top-down reachout, onboarding, activation, and expansion

- Evangelize the product and personally help close largest deals

- Work collaboratively across teams - including CRM, DESIGN Engineering, Product and Marketing

- Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives

- Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development

- Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally

- LARGELY - Focus on Business Development and achieving Sales and Revenue targets

Skills and Qualifications

- Relevant sales experience including management of SDR and AE functions and a track record of exceeding quota

- Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams

- Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

- Strong leadership and team-building skills

- Meeting planned sales goals.

- Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.

- Tracking sales goals and reporting results, as necessary.

- overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.

- Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.

- The ongoing training of your salespeople.

- Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education.

- Promoting the organization and products.

Education Qualification:

- Any graduates/PG with hard core sales and business development background. Relevant industry knowledge is optional.
