Our client is a leading multi-national architecture, design, planning and consulting firm. They have revolutionized the delivery of design as well as build services in Asia with multiple offices across Australia, India, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The company is spearheaded by a dynamic team that brings to the table vast entrepreneurial and architectural experience with them from reputed organizations.

As the Head of Business Development - India, you will be responsible for expanding the Business and Revenue of the Company's Interior Design Solutions through customer understanding, concept development and providing technical solution. You will be leading and managing a team of BD Managers and get deal closures by aggressively following up on strong leads.

The other responsibilities will be as follows:

- Increasing business in line with the company's growth strategy, increasing sales to corporates/ real estate companies/ hotels etc.including new target areas, in order to overachieve on the budget

- Building relationships with new potential customers/architects/design consultants

- Identifying opportunities for business leveraging in high level networking events

- Planning and reviewing presentations, sales pitches and market relevant sales approaches

- Presenting and consulting with cross functional heads on business trends

- Educating high level architectural customers on existing and new product offerings while delivering product demonstrations

- Driving sales in the country of captive and virgin accounts, through structured account planning, incumbency plotting and a comprehensive pursuit action plan

- Ensuring to maintain impeccable commit discipline and seasonality to achieve assigned business targets of booking, revenue and profitability

- Monitoring the funnel growth and ensuring a healthy mix of run rate and strategic deals

- Actively participating and monitoring client service delivery reviews to upsell/cross sell

- Driving the team to pitch business proposals to clients, negotiate and close sales

- Reviewing weekly/monthly forecasts on revenue/target management and end of month reports on revenue and market performance

- Following the latest industry developments and staying up-to-date on corporate competitors

Candidate Profile:

- Demonstrable record of managing Interior Decoration sales, Corporate Training Sales, transaction/advisory background from IPC and ERP Sales

- 8-10 years of industry experience in leading complex B2B sales/consultative sales

- Highly networked with with large to mid sized corporates in India

- Strong number orientation

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Savvy at navigating complex organizations and connecting the right people within each organization

- Flexible for travel within India
