Our client is a PPAN India established F&B brand based out in Mumbai is looking to hire a Head Business Development

Location - Mumbai

6 days working on-site

Responsibilities:

Market Analysis & Strategy:

- Conduct comprehensive market research and identify high-potential locations for new brand stores in Mumbai, considering factors like demographics, foot traffic, and competitor landscape.

- Develop a data-driven real estate strategy aligned with brand's long-term growth objectives.

- Stay up-to-date on real estate trends and market shifts to adapt strategies as needed

Site Acquisition & Negotiation:

- Source and negotiate favourable lease terms with landlords and property owners.

- Manage the due diligence process for potential locations, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee the construction, renovation, and fit-out of new stores, adhering to budget and timeline constraints.

Relationship Management:

- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the real estate industry, including brokers, developers, and landlords.

- Develop a network of potential business partners to explore strategic collaborations or co-location opportunities.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of real estate professionals to achieve departmental goals.

- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Reporting & Analysis:

- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to site acquisition, store opening timelines, and cost management.

- Regularly report on real estate activities and performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a Business Development or Real Estate role, preferably within the retail or F&B industry.

- Proven track record of successfully acquiring and developing retail locations in a high-growth environment.

- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best possible deals for the brand.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

- In-depth knowledge of Mumbai real estate market dynamics, leasing procedures, and legal regulations.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate software (a plus).

- A passion for the industry and brand vision is a plus
