Head - Business Development (Events)
Responsibilities :
Business Development & Strategy :
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to generate new leads and secure new clients within the events industry.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, partners, and industry influencers.
Event Planning & Management :
- Lead the planning and execution of successful events, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and client expectations.
- Manage all aspects of the event lifecycle, from budgeting and vendor selection to marketing and post-event evaluation.
- Utilize project management skills to ensure events are delivered on time and within budget.
Team Leadership & Collaboration :
- Lead and manage a team of business development professionals, providing coaching and mentorship.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in business development with a focus on the events industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in event planning and project management.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
