The Business Development Head is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, fostering partnerships, and enhancing the overall financial sustainability of the school. This individual will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic initiatives to attract new students, engage with parents, and cultivate relationships with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the school's vision and goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and demographic data to identify growth opportunities.
Student Enrollment:
- Lead efforts to increase student enrollment by implementing effective marketing and recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with academic departments to highlight the school's strengths and unique offerings.
Partnership Development:
- Cultivate relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and educational institutions to create partnership opportunities.
- Negotiate and manage agreements with external partners to enhance the school's profile and resources.
Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and implementation of marketing and branding initiatives to promote the school's image.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels to maintain a strong and positive brand presence.
Financial Management:
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage budgets related to business development activities.
- Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
Event Management:
- Plan and execute events, such as open houses, workshops, and promotional activities, to showcase the school to prospective students and parents.
Data Analysis:
- Utilize data analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
Education Qualification:
- Graduate or Postgraduate Masters in Marketing Skills
- Proven experience in business development, marketing, or a related role, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience:
- 15 to 20 years of working experience handling business development.
