Business Development Head-Higher Upskilling-Corporate B2B-Edtech


Position Overview:

- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced BD-Head to join our team.


- You will be responsible for driving end-to-end partnerships with universities and colleges.


- You will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base, generating leads, making calls, and managing outbound sales efforts.


- You will also act as an independent contributor, working autonomously to achieve our ambitious sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to establish and nurture end to end partnerships with universities and colleges.

- Identify potential leads and opportunities within the higher education sector.

- Conduct outbound sales activities, including cold calling, emailing, and networking, to generate new business.

- Utilize lead generation platforms to identify and engage potential clients.

- Manage inbound and outbound email campaigns to generate and nurture leads.

- Create and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations to prospective clients.

- Understand and effectively communicate the value proposition of thecompany's edtech products and services.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials to support sales efforts.

- Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion of leads.

- Negotiate and close sales deals, achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, ensuring long-term relationships and satisfaction.

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

- Act as an independent contributor, taking full ownership of sales initiatives and outcomes.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly within the higher education sector.

- Strong understanding of the edtech industry and its challenges.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, develop sales strategies, and close deals.

- Proven experience in handling a sales portfolio of at least $1 million annually
