Head Business Development & Bid Support
- Anchor business development and business integration initiative of GADL's project management division. Sight new business opportunities, evaluation, and preparation of tender documents and submission,
- Provide CAPEX / Project cost estimate on first principle basis for small and large projects, new greenfield projects,
- Assist bid risk, valuation, and documentation.
- Procurement of bid support consultants, Contract Administration, Claim Management; Signing/Executing Commercial Agreements, Contractual Risk Assessments & Payments management
Bidding / Tendering Support :
- Lead sighting opportunities for GADL's project Management division (project management, design/ engineering, IT&C, MSI and similar) by referring to newspapers, magazines, tender portals and networking.
- Prepare management proposal for bid participation as per SOP and HOD directions.
- Lead in developing bid preparation schedule and track the tender programme, bid programme
- Develop bid check list and discuss with HOD and agree.
- Develop tender document synopsis, risk identification and mitigation plan
- Development of all technical and commercial submission documents, collate other documents required for complete tender submission.
- Assist to Make bid/ tender price sheet and management presentation for management approval.
- Participate in pre bid meetings and site visits called as per tender conditions.
- Assess local conditions, country / sate/ region specific risk identification, influencing factors
- Project cost estimation on first principle basis for all works.
- Compiling all pre-qualification / technical bid documents, translation and attestation requirements though chamber of commerce, govt embassies etc. as per country specific or client specific requirements provided in the tender.
- Develop cost estimation for all tenders / bids for GAL or GADL business development. identification of sub consultancy and support services.
- Provide cost estimates for enquiry/ internal costing for GMR group Projects as and when required
- Support BU Head/ CEO in securing management / board approvals.
- Ensure submission of tender either E- bidding or physical documentation submission to client.
- Participate with CEO / BU Head in technical and commercial bid negotiation with the client.
- Support in Contract negotiation and finalization with the client.
- Sighting Min number of relevant opportunity in the calendar year as per AOP.
- On time completion of bid costing
- Preparation of presentation for management approval for "Go" or "No Go" decision
- Successful and onetime submission of bid
Operation phase and contract Management. (Post award)
- Identifying Contract Risk and Risk management process.
- Assist in securing all securities / bonds/documents submitted to client as per Contract terms.
- Assist in transition and handover of Contract to execution / operation team for execution including briefing, debriefing and instruction to client.
- Support HOD and the Project delivery team in contractual correspondence, claims, notices to client (s) as per requirement.
- Evaluation of cost for the specific claims and support in submission of claim to client.
- Management of all activities of Procurement Process including identification of suppliers, vendors and service providers; preparation of RFP Documents, sending enquiry and receiving offers, techno-commercial discussion and price negotiations, issuance PO/Contract and post award follow up to ensure deliver of goods and services as per projects timelines/milestones.
- Value Engineering, alternatives and cost benefit analysis before finalizing the vendors.
- Tax planning, logistics planning during tender stage and implementation of the same during the procurement stage
- Payment certification, payment reconciliation and tracing project budget / Bid price Vs actuals.
- MIS reporting on project procurement
- Support in claims management, dispute resolution, arbitration issues with client, sub consultant, subcontractors, vendors etc.
- Final closure of all contracts (either with client or with subcontracts) - Expenditure within the tender cost
- Secure Targeted Margins
- 100% compliance to client contract
- Realization of claim
- Minimize Risk and maximize entitlement
