- Introduce and institutionalize processes to increase the effectiveness of business development activities
- Lead a team of 250+ members comprising of Business Development Associates, Team
- Leaders, Managers, Associate Directors and Directors
- Identify engagement and skill development initiatives for the team such as knowledge sharing, skill development, team building etc.
- Achieve business development targets for the Loan and other products, in line with overall organizational goals
- Identify emerging and new market segments to drive business
- Manage and retain the existing client base of 10000+ rated entities and ensure adequate coverage of banks, financial institutions and mid to small corporates
- Ongoing engagement with existing clients and facilitate in increasing ticket size and ensure the surveillance fees is collected in a timely manner
- Plan and implement outreach events to facilitate high-quality lead generation and promoting the capability of the product
- Engage with existing clients through regular interactions and increase wallet size by recommending of new products and solutions by anticipating client requirements
- Responsible for achieving financial targets including revenue and profitability for the Bank
- Originate business by advising clients on existing or newer fundraising options
- Provide market feedback to the product development teams to ensure that products are in line with the customer expectation and assist in new product development
