Hiring for CA with 12-15 years of experience in handling the accounting and taxation operations of a national/multinational financial institution
To ensure GL Accounting & Consolidation, Budgeting, Costing, MIS & Taxation
- Oversee General Ledger related transaction processing (excluding routine expense voucher processing)
- Finalize and consolidate Balance Sheet, Cash flow & Profit & Loss Statements
- Vendor's selection for outsourcing of routine transaction processing and overseeing vendor's management.
- Budgeting & Costing, MIS & Financial Ratio Analysis
- Assist in finalizing the financial guidance for the year/quarter and monitoring of the actual v/s forecast no's.
- Taxation - TDS/Service Tax/VAT/Tax Audit
To ensure Regulatory Compliances - applicable provisions of the Companies Act, RBI, SEBI guidelines, accounting standards.
- Adherence to Accounting Standards
- Ensure timelines and correctness in RBI Returns, TDS, service and Vat returns Filing, attending RBI queries etc.
- Get the books of accounts audited (stand alone and group consolidated accounts) within the agreed timelines.
- Ensuring timeliness in reporting/uploading of financial no.'s
To formulate and drive measures for Value Creation and Business Process Improvements
- Introduce tools to monitor operating income and expenses and variance analysis.
- Suggest measures to cut down the operating expenses.
- Implementation of SAP ERP covering IFRS compliances.
- Drive process improvements by introducing automation wherever possible
To oversee maintenance and safe keeping of financial records.
- Maintain books of accounts with completeness and correctness.
- Prepare, direct and review Business Continuity Planfor complete back up of the financial data and relevant documents..
