KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role has the responsibility for executing the marketing strategy for Private, Corporate and Commercial Clients banking segment, assisting in campaign development, developing lead generation programs, and analysis of campaign effectiveness. The position is an integral part of the South Asia Regional Marketing team and will have interactions with many cross-functional teams including Group Marketing, Business Segments, Vendor partners and Agencies.
This role is tasked with strategy, evaluation and execution of the key sponsorship properties such as the Mumbai Marathon and Liverpool Football Club.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall coordination and review of long-term brand management framework for the 3 business units and 5 product streams
- Management and coordination of client segment strategies and plans and implement them in the marketplace
- Create annual plans, in conjunction with business, and implement them effectively. The annual plans would contain various client interaction platforms: events (entertainment/knowledge/sports), sponsorships (SCMM/LFC) and other kinds of activities
- Be responsible for the overall maintenance of the brand health
- Managing and coordinating overall compliance to the Bank's Corporate Identity Guidelines including the updating of the Corporate Identity Guidelines, the auditing of compliance to the Corporate Identity Guidelines and implementing corrective measures in the event of non-compliance.
- Liaise with various marketing agencies for creation and implementation of branding exercise, events and promotions activities to be carried out and negotiate on cost, time, deliverables, terms and conditions and propose to the Management the best deals for approval
- Work seamlessly with the other functional departments, like Corporate Affairs/L&C/HR and the CEO's office to deliver the bank's strategic agenda
- Use the sponsorships managed by Corporate Affairs to deliver superior client experiences
- Develop, maintain and manage critical supplier relationships and related contracts and work in conjunction with Global Sourcing
- Compilation and implementation of the team's Balanced Scorecard
- Planning, coordination and monitoring of the annual budgets
- Submission of management reports
- Develop new and improve existing systems and processes to work effectively
- Ensure that the right talent is appointed
- Manage and evaluate team performance and initiate appropriate training and development of staff in line with their personal development plans
- Instil staff discipline and lead by example and coach and lead the team to get the best out of everyone
- Work closely within the team and with the Group B&M team to ensure that the network capabilities of the bank and are fully utilised
- Measure the ROMI for the C&I, PvB and CC segment
- Must be willing to perform any other reasonable and lawful duties as assigned by the management and ensure that it is performed on time and correctly
- Deliver on the One Bank agenda
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- MBA with 12+ years of experience in the FMCG, Financial Services
- Should have knowledge of financial services industry and ideally should have handled marketing of financial products.
- Should be familiar with preparing marketing plans and possess basic knowledge of advertising, direct marketing, promotions and events.
- Should be conversant with quantitative analysis tools.
- Should be a self-starter with well-developed communication & inter-personal skills.
- Should be able to influence others without a direct supervisor-subordinate relationship
- Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
