About :
- Brand planning, execution and management of strategic brand assets including brand communication, category communication, identity & packaging overview, brand buildup, community buildup, brand experience, social voice, PR and all brand touchpoints.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (category, channel sales/growth, creative) and external agencies and stakeholders. Lead a culture of insight driven marketing and brand building.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the development of the annual Brand and Media Strategy. Work closely with internal teams, external agencies & channel media sources to deliver on those.
- End to end management of all brand media campaigns from brief initiation to plan optimization to sharing of learnings with the category & channel teams.
- Hold together critical information/ insights and plans for key categories, growth marketing and creatives and synthesize these to build a robust marketing approach.
- Be the budget custodian for consumer facing marketing spend.
- Creation of marketing strategies for the overall brand and key categories in which you make use of the full marketing mix.
- Plan, align, create and implement brand assets - be the custodian of brand identity, collaterals & assets.
- Use a multi-faceted approach to brand build up, including ATL, BTL, content, community & experience.
- Work cross-functionally with creative, category and growth functions to guide and develop marketing plans to support their quarter/ monthly business goals.
- Initiate and drive category, competition, consumer and customer/ shopper research to drive actionable insights on the brand
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors of Engineering / Science / Math / Economics / Medicine + MBA from a premier institute.
- 10-14 yrs of growth/sales/business experience, with more than 8 years experience in brand / marketing.
- Experience in FMCG or retail. Beauty, personal care, lifestyle, premium retail industries preferred
- Fair mix of experience in both digital-first consumer businesses as well as legacy brand businesses.
- Very strong analytical skills
- Data forward decision making on brand and media. Clear fundamentals on reading/ implementing research (qual and quant) insights on category development, customer journey and media effectiveness
- Strong solutioning ability with a creative bent of mind towards business problems
- Consumer/ customer first approach and demonstrated experience.
- Independent dealing with creative and media agencies - understanding of processes and ability to adapt judiciously.
- Strong 360 degree campaign build up credentials including digital funnels & channels.
- Strong handle of media and creative development yardstick, implementation experience across channels/ platforms and media content vehicles
- Business planning exposure, appreciation of brand as a business asset.
- Strong bias towards action & hustle
- Excited about building a long term brand.
