Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B Sales Head to lead our sales efforts within the moulds and plastic packaging sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling to large, branded companies and possess the technical knowledge necessary to effectively communicate with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key buyers and packaging personnel at major FMCG companies.
- Utilize knowledge of mould construction, terminologies, and steel specifications to hold informed sales conversations.
- Collaborate with the technical team to understand and communicate product specifications and capabilities to clients.
- Conduct cost estimations for moulds and plastic parts, demonstrating the ability to learn and adapt to new costing methods if necessary.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the FMCG sector.
- Provide market insights and feedback to the product development team to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, specifically in selling moulds or plastic packaging to large branded companies.
- Solid understanding of mould construction, terminologies, and steel specifications.
- Strong relationships with buyers and packaging personnel at major FMCG companies such as Unilever, P&G, Dabur, Emami, and Nestle.
- Experience in costing moulds and plastic parts, with a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in selling hot runner systems or moulding machines is a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
- Technical background or hands-on experience in the moulds and plastic packaging industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
