B2B Sales Contract Farming - Agri Business

POSITION PURPOSE:

1. To drive the business with Food Chain Companies and coordinate and support business initiatives in vegetables, fruits and Rice.

2. Key enabler for must win battle of Vegetables and Fruits for Market Leadership Strategy.

MAJOR TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. P & L responsibility for the food chain projects in India.

2. Prospecting the major food chain developments in the country and prepare an action plan to develop business relations with them.

3. Generate additional business for through the food chain alliances.

4. Work closely with the Zonal sales and marketing teams on the implementation strategies.

5. Responsible for steering the Food Chain initiative of Crop Science India. Initiates and facilitates tangible crop projects with multiple stakeholders in the food value chain.

6. Initiates and facilitates public and private partnerships to work on solutions for the sustainable use of plant protection products with respect to the needs of the food value chain.

7. Actively involved in various activities to support FC model e.g. Food Logistica, Food Conferences and Agri-food industry expert groups.

8. Prepares the Food Chain model and detailed plan for implementation through the Zonal Food Chain managers and drive implementation through Project officers.

9. Contribute significantly as key enabler for the must win battle of Vegetables & Fruits in market leadership strategy.

Education-

UG : B.Sc (Any Specialization, Agriculture)

PG : MS/M.Sc(Science) (Any Specialization, Agriculture), MBA/PGDM (Any Specialization, Marketing, Other Management, Operations)

Doctorate : Not Compulsory
