Our client is a listed firm and one of the biggest firms in engineering sector with a strong presence in India. With fast paced expansion in sight, they are looking to strengthen their Talent Acquisition team in India and are looking for a Head TA with both strategic and execution-oriented expertise.
Description
Reporting into the HR leadership, you will be managing a team of 11-12 reports with an employee base of 1600 employees and will be responsible for:
- Create, shape, and implement end to end recruitment process (sourcing till on-boarding) which aligns with the business strategies
- Build recruitment strategies including mapping talent and pipeline management, sourcing techniques, bulk hiring management and take them to execution
- Develop strategies to scale up the hiring by 3x in the firm in the current year and ensure smooth project execution with the business across different sites
- Handle the ramp up of the manufacturing units across India and handle volume blue collared hiring along with white collared hiring on project need basis
- Lead the annual budget planning process for all the businesses along with improvising on the recruitment systems including MIS, technology/ software and methodology/ metrics being used
- Ensure strong hiring funnel and pipeline to address need of both new and replacement hiring throughout the year
- Be an advisor while working very closely with the stakeholders to understand the requirements well along with sharing market insights to improve quality and TAT
- Work closely with the team internally on salary benchmarking thereby leading to appropriate retention of talent
- Work with the team to develop strong recruitment capabilities in people and system overall
- Proven track record of innovative Talent Acquisition management in a manufacturing and engineering industry
- Strategic TA professional who can get the engine running smoothly, understand the requirements well, has handled handle volume hiring on contractual basis
- Adept at mapping talent and creating strong talent pipeline
- Proficient in written, verbal communication and presentation skills with great attention to detail
- Advanced ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize under pressure
- Advanced ability to efficiently and creatively solve problems
