Necessary Skill / Experience :

1. Experience in Operations and Maintenance- Minimum 3 years of experience as Department Head and rest of experience as Team Lead of O&M.

2. Candidates should have hands-on experience of both execution & tendering

3. Candidates should have strong administrative skills & should have handled fairly a medium size team.

4. Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical/ Environment/Mechanical).

5. Other Professional Degrees and Certifications like M. Tech., and MBA, are also preferable.

6. 20 - 25 years of total experience in water/ wastewater industry

7. Proven track record in handling the facets of Operations and Maintenance as well as the ability to handle Multi-discipline Design and experience in EPC, preferably in the Water and Wastewater Management Sector

8. Have to manage 30 to 40 sites at a time

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Develops, plans, and implements goals and objectives for the operations and maintenance department;

2. Directs, oversees, and participates in the departmental program work plan; assigns work activities, operations, and maintenance projects and programs. Coordinates departmental activities with other departments and divisions

3. Represent the District with State-wide water agency groups; make presentations to public groups regarding District activities and programs; manage the district's water rights and water supply contracts,

4. Interviews and hires new staff; prioritizes, assigns, and reviews work; approves time off for payroll purposes and prepares employee performance evaluations; monitors

5. and participates in employee relations activities within the department; ensures that safety program requirements are adhered to by employees.

6. Performs other related work as required.
