Role - Head / AVP - Enterprise Architecture ( EA)

Location - Gurgaon

Lead / Head- Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a technology leader with business acumen who will build a best in class Enterprise Architecture organization and vision to enable innovation and accelerate delivery.

- The leader of EA will collaborate and develop strong trust-based relationships with leaders across Business and IT:

- Leads the development of enterprise standards.

- Research and advises on the acquisition of new technologies into the environment and aligns these with business direction (as well as vendor and technology viability into the future).

- Work with Development, Quality Assurance and Infrastructure resources to formulate the overall - system architecture mission-

- Researches and advises on the feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.

- Manages/Delivers R&D efforts or oversees/reviews technology recommendations

- Educate across all groups to make appropriate build vs. buy decisions

- Facilitates and coordinates cross-communication to ensure integration across multiple projects.

- Participates in system environment reviews to document existing environment as well as any integration issues.

- Ensure performance testing, modeling, and validation of current Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

- Mentors others on architecture principles, practices, techniques, etc.

- Competent to work on the most complex projects independently.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in engineering

- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment

- Team Lead or experience managing a software development team.

- Other experience includes experience with Web Services, Big Data, Mobility platforms is a plus.

- Experience with basic graphical modeling approaches, tools and model repositories.

- Experience translating business needs into Enterprise Architecture (EA) requirements.

- Experience estimating the financial impact or creation of business cases for proposed solutions.

- Strong understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies knowledge to support the needs of critical systems and projects.
