In building this center, they seek an exceptional leader to drive their asset services business.

Job Description - As Head of Asset Services, you will be reporting to the Operations Head India for the new shared services center and will be responsible for recruiting and developing teams across Coupons, Dividends and Corporate Actions. Your chief responsibility is to set local and global strategy, mitigating risk across asset classes and geographies. In addition, you will also be expected to:

- Implement departmental risk framework to mitigating risk on a global basis |

- Defining the scope and functionality of Global Asset Services IT Platform |

- Own and drive all technology developments required for the Global Asset Servicing system |

- Build out processing functionality to support derivative structures |

- Build global management team |

- Build a global culture |

- Develop a sustainable strategy for Chennai Service Center |

- Build service model for Premier Clients and key business partners |

- Provide high level of support for proprietary business partners |

- Contribute to the Global People Programme |

- At-testate on a monthly basis risks and exposures are in a controlled state |

- Document, refine and implement control policies, procedures & controls |

- Contribute to firm wide initiatives such as hiring , developing and retaining a high performing diverse team|

- Implement the correct operating models across the global team taking into consideration local nuances|

The Successful Candidate - Experience Required:

- Strong technical knowledge of Corporate Actions, Dividends and Coupon processing |

- Strong track record in delivering large scale IT projects |

- Demonstrated track record of managing risk across all aspects of Asset Services Exposure to global fixed income and equity derivatives |

- Exposure to global fixed income and equity stock markets |

- Experienced in running Asset Services Operations team Prime Brokerage and Securities lending experience |

Skills and Knowledge: The candidate will need to be able to demonstrate they:

- Have a strong ability to manage Front Office relationships |

- Display strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading teams at times of change |

- Have the ability to deal with stressful situations |

- Demonstrate good time management, ability to prioritize tasks and to meet deadlines |

- Have strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels Are comfortable with the demands of working in a pressurized environment |
