Head - Asset Services - Corporate Actions
- Responsible for the execution of the teams- organizational development / transformation. Preparation of Management reports and Departmental initiatives, and interfacing with the different departments and the Onshore Team in London to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- The VP would also be responsible for Business Continuity, Audits, Transformation, Operational Risk & Control and people related initiatives
- Performance of the Line against the pre-agreed Service Level Documents that exist between each processing function.
- The candidate will be self motivated with a continuous focus on Global Strategy Development, be able to drive change keeping in mind the organizations key objectives of Control, Capacity, Cost, Client and Completeness.
- The individual will be expected to leverage Change & IT initiatives, Engineering opportunities through LEAN, LEAP, Capacity etc, organizational/footprint opportunities, production support initiatives as well as develop a Productivity based Change the Bank Book of work.
- Take end to end ownership of UK Asset Services team across all functions within the corporate action event lifecycle.
Regularly engage with internal clients such as desks / traders / BAC / finance for performance and risk reviews, escalations, provisions, write-offs and any other queries. Will also work with external - Performance of the Line against the pre-agreed Service Level Documents that exist between each processing function.
- Liaison with upstream and downstream business and teams to streamline operations. Identify process improvements, analyse the impact that the changes bring, and provide training to the process line via various media types.
- Review and sign-off new product approvals. Will be actively involved with Change Management programs in terms of review of BRDs, user testing and identification of defects and enhancements.
- Control and Assist with process and agent migrations.
- Staff development through strong engagement and Training Need Analysis. Drive creation of subject matter expertise within team through structured training program
- People Management in terms of driving objectives, performance reviews, succession planning, training & development needs, coaching and mentoring, building diversity, etc.
