Application Support Head
Overall Job Description:
1. Experience in managing Corporate channels/Applications (min 5 yrs)
2. Demonstrated strong analytical/problem solving skills and ability to follow procedures and resolve exceptions.
3. Good understanding of data bases (Oracle/SQL/DB2/MySQL)
4. Knowledge of programming languages and Architectures (JAVA/J2ee, Microsoft platform - ASP/.NET/.Net Core, Micro services architecture etc)
5. Good understanding of Mobile and Web application architecture is must.
6. Good understanding of Middleware tools & integration support exposure
7. Familiarity with database tools such as Toad or SQL Developer; Integration Architecture, and best practices.
8. Demonstrated experience writing Web Services, RESTFUL, or SOAP, as well as experience writing fault-tolerant code.
9. Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and prioritize effectively, while delivering high quality work.
11. Capability to handle and resolve any kind of issue in given application Maintaining TAT for L2-L3 level issues b: Applicant must have good knowledge of Corporate banking product knowledge with hands-on experience in past c: 24-7 availability of person being corporate banking application support role d: Should be able to handle audit/compliance of core application and should be able to deal with external/internal auditors
12. a: Incident management and problem resolution b: Knowledge of incident / problem management c: Communicate with all stakeholders on problem statement, possible solutions, intermediate issues and overall status of work assigned d: Performance and capacity monitoring for local applications, provide proper remediation plan to address performance and capacity issues
13. a: Good communication skill b: Strong Organization Skills c: Should have good knowledge about EOD-BOD activity and able to guide team in resolving EOD related issues/performance d: Strong presentation skill
14. Experience in Application management - BCP - DR, VAPT patching, Back-up, Risk management, downtime management, maintaining system up-time as per SLA/OLA agreement.
