Job Description of Head of Application Delivery - Global Platforms:
- Senior Management position, responsible for the overall Service Delivery of all Application Development, Maintenance, Testing and Strategic Programme of the Global Platforms from an India branch perspective & OE Application Development & Maintenance services towards meeting its Goals, setting its Structure, Strategy, Staff, Systems and Resources required to meet the plans.
- Responsible for leading and delivering the growth strategy and leading end-to-end engagement across all delivery pillars
- Accountable for the multiple service lines and responsible for the stakeholder management with senior executives.
- To build the customers confidence in the service offering and to deliver the corporate plan and roadmap.
- Experience of managing complete P&L responsibilities with large team size of 350+.
- Providing leadership to hire and retain the best talent for building a High Performing and highly engaged Organization aligned to the renewal agenda and strategies.
- Work effectively with the peers and other divisions to apply best practices. Maintaining an open communication channel to build a strong client culture.
- Experience of driving Agile engagements & setting up DevOps practices
- Migration into the DevOps model in RAI, integrate RPA in the global platforms, and agile delivery
- Responsible for the Build (Application Development) & Run (Application Support) services of multiple global platforms
- End to end service delivery from building the solution, rollouts, Version upgrades, and maintenance/support across the globe.
- Experience of managing application support operations covering all levels of support (L1 to L4) across different time zones and regions.
- Responsible for ensuring high levels of services delivery, improvements in quality & productivity + client satisfaction driven by KPI- s, SLA's & Metrics.
- Manage the delivery of the HRT IT rollouts
- Must have the ability to drive services to fit to Workplace.
- Benchmark the services for the global platforms in terms of both cost and quality and highlight to the customers.
- Effectively lead the Associate Directors, Group Project Managers, and Architects in the day to day management.
- Establish methods for knowledge management and skills enhancement.
- Establish proper recruitment, pyramid management, training and retention strategies.
- Establish proper performance management and rewarding mechanisms.
- Responsible for all resources within the respective group, their optimal utilisation and professional development.
- Continuously improve the communication within the Division and with various entities.
- Represent the Division in relevant offshore and relationship meetings and groups.
- Prepare for and attend regular management and team meetings and contribute.
- Escalate all relevant operational information to the CEO and relevant senior stakeholders in a timely manner.
Qualification, Experience, Technical and Functional Skills:
- 20-26 years of experience in IT industry of which at least 10 years in IT service industry.
- Thorough working knowledge of various development methodologies related to Agile, DevOps etc in a global delivery model.
- Experience in managing & delivering large change & run programs
- Constructively structure and manage large diversified domains of technology within the IT operations framework.
- Good experience in terms of delivering modern digital solutions with mix of technology stacks like SAP (mandatory skill), Java/J2EE, Oracle, Mobility, RPA, Portals, REST, SOAP etc
- Financial acumen
- Evaluating run and program business as well as provider management
