- The position holder develops and maintains the business intelligence reporting frameworks, tools, and data marts; works cross-functionally with various business owners to determine and meet their reporting and analytics needs; and to ensure timely high-quality reporting and analytics.
- This person must ensure that the company has the necessary data and information for ongoing daily operations and strategic planning. This role holder will need to provide in-depth analysis towards discovering new opportunities for the company's continued growth.
- Develop, perform, and manage the analysis of business and financial metrics as well as performance measures
- Work closely with the business to develop, recommend and establish strategies, plans and processes to improve profitability and cost efficiencies
- Plan and implement the overall analytics and business intelligence strategy
- Develop and maintain financial reports
- Identify opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analysis to
- Discover new opportunities to optimize the business through analytics and statistical modeling
- Understand and incorporate industry specific metrics into reports to highlight relevant trends and support fact-based business decisions
- Partner with the Technology teams to deliver a stable and highly available reporting platform
- Work with business owners to identify information needs and develop reporting
- Oversee all aspects of analytics and business intelligence projects
- Develop and maintain reporting and analytical tools, including Hyperion
- Lead the design and development of analytical projects
- Develop KPI dashboards
Educational Background :
Graduate in Statistics with relevant Masters in Systems/Finance
- Additional qualifications in Project Management will be an advantage.
Must Have Experience :
- Over 15 years of experience in business analytics
- Experience in data analytics/customer/marketing analytics in a large organization
- Should have worked in a company with multi-divisional, large and complex distribution network
- Sound experience in business analysis skills to translate user requirements into solution
- Should have managed a team of people.
- Experience in large manufacturing organization
