My client is a part of a large Indian group with interests across pharma, textiles, trading, minerals & mining with operations across Asia & Africa. They are setting up a state-of-the-art, plant-based, sustainable manufacturing company, corporate office based at Mumbai, with the largest production capacity in its category in the world.
The role requires candidate to:
1. have good understanding about bio-stimulants, bio fertilizers, organic fertilizers being sold in the market
2. understand the cropping patterns in India, nutrients requirements for different crops, specific crop clusters in various regions etc.
3. have good understanding about competitors, their product portfolios, USPs comparable to our products profile
4. understand the market trends, competition profiles, analyze and supports to enhance our product portfolio
5. have good negotiation skills, develop, and drive the pricing for institutional customers like state cooperatives, govt. agencies, big FPOs, corporates etc.
6. have good understanding about tendering process, documentation, or regulatory requirements for institutional customers
7. be able to build strong relations with institutional customers, strong liasoning skills
8. collaborate with other functions and work jointly in different projects to meet organizational goals
The Candidate should be:
1. preferably an MBA in Marketing with exposure to sales of bio fertilizers, bio-stimulants, or specialty fertilizers with institutional competencies needed for the position to face the challenges involved in the job
2. willing to travel looking to market requirements
3. have good communication skills to coordinate with PAN India customers
