Head - Admissions & Outreach

Role & responsibilities :

- Provide strategic direction and thinking to all admissions related activities

- Formulate admissions policies, procedures, and systems to enable a streamlined process with quantifiable enrolment goals

- Design procedures and requirements for review and submission of application documents

- Supervise and oversee the admissions committee to provide direction and resolve any issues that may arise

- Maintain admissions guidelines by ensuring compliance to the latest UGC guidelines and suggest amendments to keep up with larger trends in the higher education landscape

- Collate admission statistics about the student database and resolve student conflict regarding policies and procedures.

- Responsible for supervising the admissions team to enable working towards enrolment goals without backlogs and inefficiencies in the admissions process

- Maintain correspondence with different School departments, School leadership, external and internal consultants and other relevant stakeholders to assist in promoting the Schools value proposition and developing strategic plans for attracting highly qualified students

- Strategic planning and implementation of admissions outreach in line with larger goals of the School

- Formulate the departmental budget in line with forecasted expenditures and ensure adherence to the budget while making adjustments where necessary

Preferred candidate profile :

- 10 - 15 Years of experience in Higher Education Admissions

- Post Graduate degree from a globally ranked institution

- Passion for building world class institutions of higher education

- Deep understanding of the MBA admissions landscape

- Understanding of Indian higher education market and related policies

- Experience of managing and leading teams

- Existing relationships in the higher education space and with education counsellors

- Keen interest in technology, social media marketing

- Proficiency in MS Office

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
