THE POSITION:
HEAD - ADMINISTRATION:
CRITICAL FUNCTIONS:
- Overseeing all property and facilities management operations for maintenance of engineering services (DG Sets, UPS, HVAC, Fire protection Systems, Security Systems), general repairs and maintenance, waste management and recycling, cleaning and various housekeeping, janitorial and workplace services e.g. Mail Room services, Meeting and Conference Room Management, Facility Helpdesk Services, Fitness centre, Recreation Centre, Cafeteria & Pantry Services Management.
- Management of facilities for ensuring continued functionality of capital assets and usefulness of building and equipment. Developed planned maintenance schedules for all elements of facilities to minimize failures in facilities and infrastructure.
- Develop & implemented short term & long term strategic plans / workplace office guidelines.
- Overseeing the operation, staffing, performance and development of facilities management service delivery staff.
- Managing capital and expense budgets related to ongoing operations and construction / remodeling projects. Developed annual Real Estate / Facility Management operating & capital budgets.
- Ensure proper financial governance in payment procedures, accounting procedures, risk / error identification in accordance with corporate policies and agreed budgets for departmental spend.
THE PERSON:
- We are ideally looking at candidates preferably from the Forces / Services background who are currently working in the EDUCATION SECTOR.
SECTOR : EDUCATION / UNIVERSITY / COLLEGE.
- The candidate should be ideally taking care of University / College campuses primarily Hostels, Cafeteria's, Facility Management, Procurement, Horticulture, Travel, etc.
- The candidate would be responsible for the entire Administration activities for the Campus.
EDUCATION - Graduate/Post Graduate (Any specialization)
MBA/Technical Qualification would be an added advantage
We are looking at candidates preferably from Forces / Services background but can also look at exceptional candidates (Non - Service background) from the EDUCATION SECTOR.
