Role and Responsibilities:
- Be the custodian of accounting, tax compliance within the organization.
- Own tax planning throughout the fiscal year.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions.
- Drive implementation of best practices, and adherence to regulatory requirements within the finance function and implement policies effectively in accounting, taxation, and compliance filings and reporting.
- Manage and oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity, cost accounting, inventory accounting and revenue recognition.
- Manage the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, income statements, financial statements, regulatory reporting, and any other activity yet to be automated.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national government reporting requirements and tax filings; coordinate with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit; file annual corporate tax return.
- Manage preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets, and all necessary financial reports and statements.

- Proven experience in managing accounting and tax compliance for a B2B transaction business with a large number of products and services with complex taxation.

- Have the ability to ensure all relevant teams and stakeholders exercise diligence and adhere to policy on all matters of invoicing, taxation, accounting, and regulatory compliance.
- Have an understanding of global trade and supply chain industry, and the nuances of various commercial terms and norms.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or MBA in business administration, finance from a top school is preferred.
- CA is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a manager for accounts and tax in a B2B Business in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
