Job Description for Head - Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets & Payroll
- Lead Accounts Payable team and performing tasks related to reporting, approval or evaluation of the data
- Review the team's day to day activities, including but not limited to invoicing, audit requests, analysis and other requests pertaining to the accounts payable process
- Implementation of internal control and financial reporting system to ensure compliance with SOP & SLA
- Identifying and driving automation opportunities like RPA
- Leading the digitisation process for eliminating the deficiencies & optimise the resources
- Training to team members of new development and establish standard procure to follow
- Planning vendor account reconciliation on quarterly basis and resolving resolutions
- Completion of month end activities within stipulated time period
- Ensuring compliance with Direct & indirect taxes & timely payments of statutory dues
- Ensuring proper & accurate recording the cost of tangible and intangible fixed assets
- Ensuring proper Tagging & Tracking of Existing Fixed Assets
- Calculating and recording depreciation and amortisation
- Assessing and accounting for impairmentsaccounting for the disposal of fixed assets whether through a sale or at the end of their useful life.
- Ensuring insurance coverage of all the Fixed Assets
- Develop hassle-free systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third party payments)
- Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades
- Managing team to achieve the organisation objectives
- Preparing Monthly KPI on the financial and MIS
- Coordinating with auditors for audits & replies to their queries
- Review of Inter unit account reconciliation entries & taking corrective measures
- Having close co-ordination & interaction with the HR Team, Accounting team, Time Office
- Team, cross functional team and external stakeholders to resolve issues
- People manager quality involving in hiring, structured learning path, operations coach for the team
- Good Communication skill and the ability to engage customers in meaningful discussions
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in MS excel
- Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to handle team and client discussions
