Company : A leading NBFC of a Top Business Conglomerate

Position : Head - Accounts

Location : Chennai

Qualification : Chartered Accountant

Proficiency : MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook & Visio

Experience : Minimum around 9 years of relevant experience, preferably in an NBFC / BFSI.

The position will be responsible for all facets of Core Accounting reporting to the CFO

Accounting & Compliance :

- Responsible for the robustness of accounting systems, so as to ensure, that, Statutory, Accounting and Financial records, are maintained by the company as per Statutory norms

- Familiar with RBI guidelines and compliance's on NBFC

- Ensuring compliance with Indian GAAP, Accounting Standards, and Guidelines

- Monthly review of Balance Sheet schedules

- Variance analysis of all accounts month on month and finding the gaps

- Ledger Scrutiny. Monitoring, Scrutinization and Finalization of Accounts

- Reporting and highlighting issues that need immediate attention of the Operational, Project and Other Management Teams.

- Ensuring compliance with all systems and processes laid down for Finance, Accounts and Taxation

- Should be well versed with Statutory compliance's and all Accounting laws

Decision Support :

- Assist the CFO in development, revision and monitoring of various processes

- Financial and Business evaluation of various Operations related Initiatives

Requirements :

- Should be from a listed company and working in Corporate Accounting

- Should have Core & applied knowledge of Accounting and well versed with Books of Accounts

- Strong understanding of Management Reporting, Budgeting Process & Schedules

Skills :

- Strong Analytical and Organizational skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- The competence to lead, motivate and manage the entire accounting division.
