Head - Accounts & Finance - CA/CPA/ACCA

Qualification: Accounting Degree - CA/CPA/ACCA preferably from Real Estate Industry

Experience: 10 years + of experience in managing RTR/FPA role + AR exposure in similar sized organization

Skills Required:

- Team Management - more than 4-5 Direct reportees in Managerial position

- Proficient in MS Office applications especially power point presentations

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Exposure to ERP Systems, Reporting and consolidation modules

- Attention to details

- Excellent numerical and analytical skills

- Can work within stretched timelines

Job Deliverables:

- Responsible in providing direction and guidance to the Team Leaders in areas of accounting and finance which includes the maintenance of the General Ledger, preparation of monthly balance sheet schedules and financial reports

- Responsible for maintaining the General Ledger, Accounting and Reporting

- Ensure all SLAs are met timely with quality

- Set performance KPIs for direct reportees + 1. Provide guidance on execution of achieving KPIs for entire team

- Ensure accurate and time filing of VAT returns for the group

- To ensure entities are in compliance with Group financial operating procedures and to report and investigate any irregularities to management on a timely manner.

- To maintain and uphold Income policy, together with assisting in all other Finance related functions

- Manage and assist in the day-to-day treasury functions (where applicable)

- Monitor the cash pooling arrangement for businesses where applicable, with daily cash position updates and monthly reports

- Overview cash-flow statement and cash-flow forecast submitted by Business Units

- Compliance monitoring for BU treasury related activities

- Enforcing financial and internal controls and report misconduct to higher management

- Providing functional guidance and operational support to the team

- Interacting with Business Heads and external parties to effectively control the assets of the business and to provide business support
