About our Client - Our client is leading US headquartered conglomerate in the FMCG industry globally. They have been consistently growing in India since the last decade and are currently looking for a head of accounting and reporting to oversee their corporate and group reporting for their operations in India. The role is based out of their corporate office in Delhi.

Job Description - Reporting to the India head for finance, you will manage a team of 4 people and external consultants with your main responsibilities including:

- Ensuring all statutory compliances including but not limited to audit and taxation

- Control overall accounts including Cash flow, FAR, inventory or in-transit inventory

- Overseeing monthly accounts closing, consolidation and financial statement preparation

- Handle the government audits, statutory audits, return filings and tax assessments.

- Oversee reporting in both IGAAP and USGAAP

- Manage A/R and A/P and set up the documented processes, SLA's and MIS.

The Successful Candidate - The successful candidate will be a Chartered Accountant qualified with more than 8 years of experience in a fast moving consumer or services industry. Previous experience in Big 4 or accounting firms is preferred.. Your ability to move across functions in finance is a must along with excellent communication skills.
