ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

An overview of the department and the role it plays to contribute to the organizational objective

JOB SPECIFICATION:

1. Head a vertical under DPPM with a team of 20+ and 4 direct reporting leads.

2. Manage the primary compensation policy for intermediaries across Channels, and driving cross functional initiatives to streamline Credit Protect and Group processes.

3. Execute and ensure adherance to Partner commercial agreements as per compliance and regulatory policy.

4. Manage various Audits (Internal, Regulatory, Statutory, Concurrent, etc); draw processes / policies and or its framework compliant to Regulations and or company policies for partner commercials.

3. Lead Governance Council meeting and highlight the key developments.


4. Spearhead Project which is targetted to Insurtech initiative in the for the development of advanced Incentive & Commission Management Systems (ICM)

5. Periodically connect with distribution teams to understand bottlenecks, ground issues and realities, etc. Capture inputs / issues raised by distribution and self troubleshoot or resolve in collaboration with concerned stakeholders.

6. Present updates to Senior Management / CXOs periodically on key projects.

KNOWLEDGE:

- Understanding of a defined system, practice, method or procedure within or outside HDFC Life.

- Strong understanding of Life Insurance business domain and different lines of business

- Working knowledge of distribution operations, framework, products, etc

- Proficient in Project and Business Process Management

- Proficient in application of business tools viz. MS office suite, Qlik, etc.

- Strong Analytical skills

- Correspondence Etiquettes
