Manager - Health Underwriting

What are we looking for :

- As a Manager for Health Underwriting you would perform high value and high risk medical underwriting.

You will be expected to :

- Manage projects for improvement in underwriting standards.

- Accomplish agreed service deliverables

- Take care of underwriting services to allocated zone / channels

- Manage underwriting turn around time for all New Businesses and Revival cases

- Manage the grievances and complaints of internal and external customers.

- Manage underwriting query resolution queue to address sales queries

- Proactively cascade information to reduce complaints / queries across sales channels

- Have data-driven approach to planning and implementation of effective controls for efficient and effective functioning of the department.

- Organize branch/sales interactions to communicate the organization's underwriting philosophy, guidelines and solicit feedback.

- Adhere to turn around times, quality guidelines for all underwriting cases and productivity targets for self and team

What qualifies you for the role :

- Graduation in any stream with 5-9 yrs relevant work experience.

- Exposure to Health Insurance domain is preferred.
