Role: Responsible for designing and developing high-quality content that is aligned to the organization's L&D strategy and current trends in instructional design. The incumbent should be capable of tailoring content to the training needs and learning styles of business users across age groups and organizational hierarchy.
Duties and responsibilities:
1) Designing Learning Materials:
- Draft clear learning objectives based on identified learning needs and learner profile
- Draft a course outline aligned to the objectives
- Understand the "raw content" or the subject matter that needs to be taught
- Apply ID strategies to create learning content (storyboard) that will engage and fulfill the learning needs of learners across age groups and hierarchy
- Visualize graphic elements and ideate how to optimize user experience for the learning material on various media (mobile, web, in-person).
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to further fine-tune the learning content
2) Writing Training Content:
- Writing engaging copies for various media (mobile, social, classroom, print) with primary focus on training, instructional and business content
- Is capable of adapting the top trends in popular media (memes, reels/shorts, movies etc) to make learning content more exciting for learner groups
- Branding and communication related activities for instructional purposes
- Content curation for learning app and maintaining database of learning content on shared drive
- Creative writing for business users (stories, comics, case scenarios, ads, memes, videos, infographics, etc.)
- Review the training content created by junior team members
3) Stakeholder Management:
- Interact across all levels of the organization
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to gather and understand raw content, for reviews and approvals
-Work closely with graphic and technical team in production of the learning material
4) Project Management:
- Maintain regular tracking of assigned tasks
- Update project trackers and ensure that defined quality standards and TAT are met
- Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Essential:
- 5 to 8 years of work experience in custom content creation for allied media such as online, mobile, print, etc.
- Output oriented and business focused
- Excellent English language skills (verbal and written) to engage audience at all levels
- Experience in writing scenario-based, story-based, and/or game based training content
- Experience in working with strict deadlines with high quality standards
- Experience in working with Subject Matter Experts for creation of training content
Desirable:
- Certificate/certifications from ISPI, CPLP - ASTD post-graduate / Creative writing certification / User experience design credentials
- Experience in creating training content for BFSI domain
- Focus on self-development and continuous learning for self
