The Sales Strategy Manager will work in close collaboration with the regional leadership team, broader Sales Strategy & Planning (SSP) team, and other key functions (Technology, Marketing, Operations, etc) in driving sales goals for the organization.
Key areas of focus will include -
- Work with leadership and cross-functional team to define HDFC Credila strategy to achieve long term and short-term business goals
- Partner with regional Business Unit/Functional leaders to drive key growth initiatives to help achieve the end objective
- Ensure sales workforce planning to ensure market coverage maximization while driving productivity improvement
- Support C-level reviews, Board PPT presentations by leading preparation of business overview and summary of strategy development and progress
- Provide a perspective of external market trends by liaising with market research providers, external consultants
Key roles and responsibilities :
- Identifies research, tools, and analyses required to achieve objectives for multiple work streams or projects.
- Manages and structures analytical approaches, and oversees the data-gathering process
- Selects key information and conclusions to develop a comprehensive set of recommendations for optimizing business and financial performance.
- Manages complex, time-sensitive market intelligence/research projects and synthesizes data and information to identify relevant trends and identifies recommendations, insights & implications
- Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance, and develops the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps (MIS reporting)
Required Skills :
- Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to summarize abstract ideas clearly and independently manage project objectives.
- Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and a high degree of comfort with analysis and modeling.
- Developed business acumen and technical knowledge
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
Qualification and Experience :
- 3-5 years of work experience preferably in corporate strategy, regional strategy & planning roles
- Experience or interest in the technology sector and awareness of Fintech and digital transformation trends will be a plus
- Prior experience in regional/ global sales strategy, planning & transformation in a BFSI/Edtech/ Fintech will be a plus
- B.E./ B.Tech. and MBA/ Advanced university degree from Tier 1 institutes
