Job Description: - The Assistant Vice President of Infrastructure Services oversees day-to-day infrastructure activities and is responsible for the long-term strategic initiatives to align with the business goals and objectives. The incumbent is both a strategic and tactical thinker who helps drive the team to higher levels of service in all areas: network, data center, storage, compute, security, hybrid cloud, middleware, and disaster recovery across the globe.

The incumbent will provide strategic direction and oversight for the full life cycle of design, development, operation, and support of IT systems. This position will provide direction on how emerging technologies should be incorporated into the technology strategy and roadmap to improve operations and manage cost. This position will ensure that technology strategies are well-coordinated and fully supporting the requirements of a growing business.

Key roles and responsibilities:

- Develop and own infrastructure roadmap in line balancing organization needs, modern enterprise architecture best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Liaison with CXO stakeholders on technology strategy and drive a high-performance culture

- Ensure Designing / Solutioning and Implementation of world class IT Infrastructure - Data Center, WAN, LAN and communications systems and related infrastructure along with partners

- Define and roll-out of the IT Policies and Processes related to IT Infrastructure and End User Computing Devices

- Manage the security vendors /contracts for development and implementation of security policies, protocols, plans, and procedures.

- Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive systems to monitor and enforce the company's security policies, procedures and guidelines. Work with internal auditors and outside consultants to conduct thorough- and independent- physical and information security audits throughout the company.

- Operations and Maintenance of IT Infrastructure and ensure High Up-time / Availability

- Technical support and guidance to the operations team for infra related issues

- Delivers a stable and reliable IT environment using solid change management, performance measurement, and well thought out solution implementation

- Contributes expertise regarding complex problem resolution, solution design(s), and troubleshooting in the areas of Network and Server Infrastructure, Database and File systems, and Data Center and Cloud SaaS Management

- Maintains compliance with ISO 27001

- Effectively allocate and lead IT resources across numerous activities, often with competing priorities

- Ensure Disaster Recovery processes and capabilities are maintained, improved, and in alignment with business continuity plans.

- Process understanding of ISO20K /ITIL

- Good understanding of Wintel and Virtualization technologies 24- 7 Support Environment Management

- Manage the IT Infrastructure for Desktop Virtualization (Citrix/VMWare/Microsoft, on-premise & Cloud)

- Build & Manage processes for smooth running of operations (BAU)

- SLA Management /Availability Management /Capacity

- Infrastructure compliance management and governance

- Adoption of new technology /automation in BAU

- Responsible for AMC Management of IT infrastructure (including Software)

- OEM Management (Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, Nutanix etc)

- Team Productivity management

- Managing of Cost of Delivery (support cost) and Cost optimization with innovation

- Defining, monitoring and managing the KRA for the team

- Upskilling and training of team

Qualifications & Experience:

- Experience of 10+ years in leading large technology team

- Experience in IT operations, IT projects, Service Delivery, Information Security, Partner/vendor management and Technical consulting

- Must have led round the clock IT operations that served SaaS applications, Co-location Datacentres, Enterprise IT, etc

- Should have the experience to aligned IT to business, re-engineered IT deployments to deliver high availability, security, performance, at optimized cost

- Must have the experience Institutionalizing processes, procedures and certified organizations for ISO 20000, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, successful SSAE16 assessments and client audits

- Built, motivated, coached global teams to deliver results and stakeholder satisfaction Information Risk Assessment, Stakeholder communication, educating users on Information Security

Program managed and delivered large IT projects Datacentre build; Call centre build; Enterprise security gateways, datacentre / application migration.

De-risked business by strengthening/introducing Information Security Controls, Metrics, Reporting, audits for compliance, VA and PT

Established DR and BCP requirements of the business, RPO, RTO that needs to be met, documentation, user education, DR drills

Experience in Software development centre and Corporate functions will be an added advantage

Past experience of managing IT Infrastructure domain at different level (Citrix/VMWare /Wintel/NW), preferably in desktop virtualization

Education in Engineering with a relevant degree or master

Preferred, but not mandatory - Certified PMP, ITIL professional, Lead Auditor for Information.
