Job Purpose :
- The Zonal Head for Payment gateway will handle 2-3 states and will be responsible for all E commerce business through direct team of SM/KAM / branch channel & other internal channels of bank and through external channel partners.
- He will act as subject matter expert for the state/region when it comes to Govt business for payment & E-commerce solutions The ZH will be responsible for Business volume from existing portfolio, New acquisitions, Revenue Income through AMC and integration fee, Signing up of new MSP and channel partners.
- His role involves managing a team of RM's under him as it involves techno commercial selling to corporate/ government entities and interacting with the senior management and Key decision makers
- The ZH will be supported by a central technical team for all integration related queries. This role involves both Business development and Account relationship management at a senior management level. This role involves managing a team spread across multiple geography and would require frequent travel.
Principle Accountabilities :
Direct/Internal/External Channel
- Work on internal and external databases
- Ensure activation - 75% for the merchants signed
New signup through Re-seller or MSP segment :
- Growth in Business Throughput, New acquisitions, Revenue/Income through Merchant discount rate, Float build-up, AMC and integration fee,
- Signing up of new MSP and identify new channel partners and sign them on
- Ensure the Operational aspect of on-boarding is completed and within TAT for the zone
- Liaise with risk, policy and Ops for the portfolio health and interventions
Cross Sell & Marketing :
- Ensure multiple bank products are sold within his geography
- End to end one bank solutioning is offered
- Drive visibility and marketing activities around key signup in the zone
Volume from portfolio ME :
- Volume Targets are met for the zone
- Drive activities on existing ME for Volumes
- Track the growth of portfolio merchants on usage and throughput
- AMC collection from existing ME
- Segment wise mix is achieved
Dimensions :
- No of sub-ordinates- 7-10
- Geographical span - managing 3 or 5 states
Description of the Relationships and Roles :
Internal :
Upwards : Regional heads of FIG/cluster head /Circle head in Branch banking/Key corporate sales team/ Central team & product team
Sideways : Risk/Policy/IT/Service teams/Operations team
Downwards : Sales manager & key account managers
External : Key decision makers in Govt bodies who are IAS officers, chief Secretary, MD and CFO in PSU enterprises. IT integrators, Channel partner promoters and sales team of channel partners
Educational Qualifications :
Essential : Graduate
Preferable : MBA, MCA
Relevant Experience : Sales background, managing Corporate sales has to be customer facing role. Experience of selling payment products or corporate lending products would be beneficial though not compulsory. Team management skill compulsary
- Minimum 9-11 years of experience

- Good communication ( knowledge of regional language would be important since dealing is with local Govt bodies )
