PURPOSE OF THE JOB :
The RSM is responsible for following the HR agenda across assigned businesses and territories in the areas of:
(a) Talent Acquisition,
(b) Employee Engagement,
(c) Employee Relations,
(d) Training and Development and
(e) HR Operations.
The above role exists to provide proactive HR support to the businesses, to be the first level of contact for all employees, with a primary focus on the entry level employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Talent Acquisition :
1. Responsible for staffing vacancies to approved budgets for all critical and non critical positions.
2. Adopt an optimal mix for sourcing candidates.
3. Managing systems related to hiring and channels - encouraging use of cost effective sources.
4. Interact with consultant for vacancies, share timely feedback and facilitate vendor payment. Monitor consultant performance.
5. Vacancy closure as per TATs
6. Obtain and maintain offer related documentation like exception approval, special hiring approval, joining commitment, notice pay buyout etc
7. Maintain adequate pipeline of candidates for critical positions.
8. Responsible for end to end campus hiring at identified campuses / batch job models
9. Should be aware of hiring trends by competitors and maintain relevant data.
Employee Engagement :
Conduct following HR initiatives for assigned geography / business unit
1. Location Visits, monitoring employee health items in the location
2. Employee 1-On-1 sessions: To understand their individual concerns and seek feedback on HR processes
3. Employee Career Discussions: To understand their career aspirations, clarify expectations; discuss career options in the bank etc. Responsible for assigned employees.
4. Employee Satisfaction Survey/UF Feedback Survey: Facilitate the exercise with employees, conduct initiatives and present reports to business units
5. Exit interviews: Conduct interviews and maintain exit data. Monitor for trends and red flags.
6. New Joinee Mentoring: Allocate mentors and conduct Parichay meets.
7. Reward and Recognition: Collate nominations and facilitate payout(Star Awards). Vaidate reward criteria for the unit.
8. Employee Meets: Conduct meets as per need
Employee Relations :
- Handle first level queries on ER issues / employee grievances or complaints and work with the ER team and HR seniors for resolution.
- Ensure responses reach the concerned parties.
Training and Development:
- Conduct training need analysis exercises. Work to ensure adequate and relevant training coverage of employee base to enhance capability building.
- Provide feedback on training initiatives to relevant training heads and business heads
HR Operations :
1. To function as the SPOC for line managers on HR operational issues during the employee life cycle (Includes Offers, on-boarding and new joinee formalities, leave, transfers, system updation, Exits etc)
2. Adherence to TAT as per SLAs defined
3. Follow up for timely data updation for all employees in the region, confirmations letters, transfers etc
4. Generate periodic reports.
