HDFC Bank - Manager - Legal

The candidate should be a graduate/post- graduate in Law with post qualification experience of atleast 3 years.

Preferably working with a reputed Bank or with experience working in the eCommerce sector and be well versed in the following areas of Law/work profile among others:

- Banking Laws & Practice.

- Corporate Laws.

- Transfer of Property Act & Lease related matters.

- Working knowledge in Criminal laws including Filing of FIR & interaction with Police Officials.

- Local Stamp/Revenue Laws.

- Drafting and vetting the Docs, Legal Notice Reply and customer complaints etc.

- Briefing the Advocates and advising the Branches/Offices on litigation by or against Bank, replies to complaints before consumer Courts and banking Ombudsman.

- Advising on stamp duty applicable in various states on loan related documents.

- Advising on documentation relating to Bank's various business and products.

- Familiar with e-Commerce, IT Contracts, etc. and Information Technology Act
